विवरणम् · Explanation

जनम् आह्वयामः चेत् सम्बोधनम् — हे राम! · हे हरे! · हे गुरो! · हे रमे! · हे नदि! · हे मित्र! बहुषु शब्देषु अन्तिमः स्वरः ईषत् परिवर्तते — रामः → राम, गुरुः → गुरो, रमा → रमे। “हे” “भोः” इति च आदौ भवतः।

To call someone, use the vocative (सम्बोधनम्), usually with हे or भोः in front: हे राम!, भोः मित्र! The shapes: रामः → राम, हरिः → हरे, गुरुः → गुरो, रमा → रमे, नदी → नदि, मित्रम् → मित्र. With a vocative you naturally use the informal command: हे राम, आगच्छ! शृणु! पश्य!

त्रयः मित्रशब्दाः, त्रयः नियमाः — “सह” तृतीयया (मित्रेण सह) · “विना” तृतीयया द्वितीयया वा (जलेन विना) · “नमः” चतुर्थ्या (गुरवे नमः)। एतान् त्रीन् स्मरतु — विभक्तयः स्वयम् आगच्छन्ति!

गृहस्य त्रीन् जनान् सम्बोधयतु, एकम् आदेशं च ददातु — “हे …! … आगच्छ / शृणु / पश्य!” इति। ततः एकं नमोवाक्यम् एकं सह-वाक्यं च वदतु।

Call three people at home by vocative and give each a friendly command: हे अम्ब, शृणु! Then round off with one नमः sentence (…आय/…वे नमः) and one सह sentence (…एण सह …). All seven cases plus the call — complete!
