विवरणम् · Explanation
त्वम् — “पठसि”। युवाम् (द्वौ) — “पठथः”। यूयम् (बहवः) — “पठथ”। प्रश्नस्य उत्तरे रूपं परिवर्तते — “त्वं खादसि?” → “अहं खादामि”।
Second person: त्वं पठसि “you read”, युवां पठथः “you two read”, यूयं पठथ “you all read”. When you answer a you-question, flip to first person: त्वं किं खादसि? → अहं रोटिकां खादामि.
आदरेण “भवान् पठति, भवन्तः पठन्ति, भवती पठति, भवत्यः पठन्ति” — एतानि “-ति/-अन्ति” रूपाणि एव।
The polite pronouns stay in the third person: भवान्/भवती पठति, plural भवन्तः/भवत्यः पठन्ति. With this lesson you now command the full present-tense grid: nine forms of every verb.

Write and say three questions — to one friend (त्वम्), to two (युवाम्), to a group (यूयम्) — and answer each one yourself with अहम्, आवाम्, वयम्. You are now using the complete लट् present tense.
